The IEL is composed of 25 distinct reference works, with contributions from over 1,200 prominent authors. The IEL covers each legal discipline with country-by-country monographs, which describe how each national legal system governs specific fields of law. These national monographs are supplemented, where relevant, with international or regional monographs that detail how supranational organizations may affect the field of law in question, or with monographs including an overview of the field from a comparative perspective. The topics covered include Civil Procedure, Commercial and Economic Law, Competition Law, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property, Migration Law, Religion, Transport Law, and many other topics.
