The Practicing Law Institute (PLI) is best known in legal circles as a provider of high-quality continuing legal education programs and materials. With this online research platform, covering 25 practice areas, PLI offers full access to over 100,000 documents, including several practice-focused treatises; PLI Course Handbooks created as supplements to their continuing legal education programs, as well as Transcripts from selected presentations; Answer Books that include practice pointers and checklists in a Q & A format; Forms taken from the CLE materials; and Journals that contain articles by experts in the 25 practice areas. A UI-affiliated user may create an account in PLI Plus. Account holders may save documents, access search and viewing history, highlight text, and create online notes. In order to access these tools, one must access PLI Plus from the Law Library's database list.
