Law students may register for a Lexis Advance password at http://register.lexisnexis.com. Students will need to use a registration code, keyed to the University of Iowa College of Law, that they received in the orientation sessions. Law students that need the code should contact Ted Potter, Reference Librarian, as detailed below.
It is strongly advised that law students use their @uiowa.edu email address to complete the registration.

Free Printing through Lexis Advance is available for some documents. The Lexis printer is located in Room 134 of the Law Library.
To print, select the Download icon in the top left corner of the document webpage. Then select Choose new settings, under Print (current settings), at the top of the list.
The Print window will open to the Basic Options tab. In that window, select LexisNexis Printer under Printer type, and then choose the 701953 - Library Room 134 option.
University of Iowa College of Law students may utilize their Lexis Advance accounts during the summer for academic purposes, as well as work "at any law firm, government agency, court or other legal position, internship, externship, or clerkship."
