Print Release

Once you have submitted your print job through the University’s web print portal (https://printing.its.uiowa.edu/) or from a Law Library computer, you must still release your print job. While in the past you had to use a print release station in order to release your printing, you now have the option for touch-free print release.

To use the print release station, please enter your HawkID and select Print. A print release station for black and white printing is available in the Law Library near the reference desk. A print release station for color printing is available in the Lauridsen Commons

You may release your print job from your phone or your personal computer. Each printer has a QR code that you can scan with your phone. Alternatively, you can go to https://printing.its.uiowa.edu:9192/mr and enter the code for the printer you would like to use. In the Law Library your two options are BLB02 and BLB03. You’ll see the QR code on the lower right side of the printer.
