Free Printing through Lexis  is available for some documents. The Lexis printer is located in Room 134 of the Law Library.

To print, select the Download icon in the top left corner of the document webpage. Then select Choose new settings, under Print (current settings), at the top of the list.

The Print window will open to the Basic Options tab. In that window, select LexisNexis Printer under Printer type, and then choose the 701953 - Library Room 134 option.

University of Iowa College of Law students may use their Lexis accounts during the summer for academic purposes, as well as work "at any law firm, government agency, court or other legal position, internship, externship, or clerkship."

• Extended Access to Lexis+: spring graduates have access to Lexis+ via their law school IDs through December 31, 2025. This access can be used for any purpose.  Spring graduates have access to most of the same content and features available during law school, excluding public records, Lexis+ AI^®, Law 360, Practical Guidance, and LMO.
• Graduate Home Page: on July 10, 2025, the spring graduates’ view of the Law School Home Page will automatically switch to the graduate view. This new view provides helpful information for their careers and job search.
• Graduate Gift: graduates can select a “Graduation Gift” from the new Graduate view of then Law School Home Page. This years’s gift choices include:
  • Intelligize (6-month from date of redemption)
  • Law360 (6-month from date of redemption)
  • Practical Guidance (6-month from date of redemption)
  • Lexis for Microsoft Office (6-month from date of redemption)
  • One of 13 LexisNexis eBooks
    Access to this gift will expire within the timeline noted above or on December 31, 2025, whichever is longer.
• LexisNexis Rewards Expiration: spring graduates have until June 30, 2025 to redeem their LexisNexis Rewards points.
